My obsession with Free People is at it's peak, quite obviously. I just think the design team behind the brand really captures summer style so perfectly, mixing creativity and casualty with a dynamic feminine/masculine contrast and texture and layering that just stands out as a retail brand. And the aura infused in both their lookbooks and their catalogs just ooze with feeling. July's catalog being no exception. Such a fantastic take on the 1970s theme, pinning the trend to a particular Laurel Canyon mid-summer music scene type setting straight out of the '70s. It's a period piece on an LA bohemian lifestyle straight out of the culture textbooks and twisted in a contemporary manner. Love, love, love.
